What is Social Sale Rep?
Social Sale Rep is a live chat training program and jobs database. Depending on how you discovered Social Sale Rep, your understanding might be that they find a job for you or hire you directly.
That’s not the case.
You can earn as much as $25 – $35 per hour as they claim, but you must apply for these jobs as you would for any job. And the higher-paying jobs require experience, specific training, or a degree in some cases.
As a result, there’s some confusion about Social Sale Rep and what it is. And whether it’s a scam.
Social Sale Rep is from the same creators as WriteAppReviews, PaidOnlineWritingJobs, and PayingSocialMediaJobs.
I bought Social Sale Rep so that you’ll know exactly what it is and how it works. I’m going to take you inside the members area, go through each module, and let you know what I think about it.
Is Social Sale Rep worth it?
Let’s start by finding out if it’s even real…

Is Social Sale Rep Legit?
Like most online money-making programs, you probably think it’s a scam and I can’t blame you. That was my first impression too. My thought Social Sale Rep would be similar to known scams like JustEarn or Money Genie.
So, I was surprised to find out that Social Sale Rep is actually legit. However, that doesn’t mean it’s what you expect it to be, or what you want it to be though.
Let me explain…
There are three aspects to Social Sale Rep (for the purpose of this explanation).
- The Social Sale Rep marketing and promotion campaign
- The Social Sale Rep program/course
- The Social Sale Rep live chat assistant jobs
The program and the jobs are real, and I’ll go over both of those further below.
The marketing and promotion, however, are what I would call “optimistic.”
For example, if you’ve come to Social Sale Rep through their survey page (shown below), it says they’ll find you the perfect online job in less than 5 minutes.
<< VISIT OFFICIAL WEBSITE >>>

That’s partly true. They will provide you with a list of remote job opportunities, but there’s a catch…
… you must apply for them.
This is similar to another online job platform called ClickEarners.
There may be hundreds of other applicants applying for the same jobs, and many of them may be more qualified than you. So, although they may have found your perfect job, that doesn’t mean it’s yours.
You may get hired immediately. However, you could also find yourself applying for dozens of positions, some of which pay significantly less than $25 per hour.
And you might not get a response.
Also, you are not hired directly by Social Sale Rep, nor are you a Social Sale Rep live chat assistant. The actual jobs are legit, but they are separate from the program. They are jobs found on various freelance platforms and job boards like Indeed, Upwork, and Simply Hired.
So, if you get hired, you’ll be working for another company unrelated to Social Sale Rep.
If that’s not what you were expecting from Social Sale Rep, and you were looking for something simpler, survey sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars are an easier way to make money online.
Of course, remote jobs posted on job boards are likely to pay more, but surveys are a great way to earn a few bucks between jobs and also while waiting to get hired.
If what you want, is a bigger income, an online business may be what you want.
You may be at home with children or have health difficulties which make a regular job challenging.
If that’s the case and a full-time income online is what you want, knowing how and where to get started is what you need in order to get what you want.
Now, I’m going to give you a free step by step beginner’s guide to making money online and you can get it by Clicking Here
Back to Social Sale Rep, the course is also legit. It’s not transformative, nor is it in-depth, in my opinion. And it won’t give you an advantage over other job applicants with experience.
But you may find some value in it if you’re unfamiliar with what live chat agents do.
The way the program and the jobs are marketed, on the other hand, is a little deceptive, in my opinion.
If I had to point out another red flag, it’s that the creators and owners of Social Sale Rep are completely anonymous.
That’s their choice, of course, and there’s nothing wrong with it. I know several people making money online who are anonymous and still honest and helpful. So it’s not a reason to call Social Sale Rep a scam.
It can be viewed as a red flag though, especially when it comes to making money online.
So, these are a couple of the issues I have with the program, but it doesn’t mean there’s no value in it. It also doesn’t mean you won’t find it helpful or shouldn’t try it. Even if it’s just an introduction to online jobs that ultimately leads you in an entirely different direction.

How Does Social Sale Rep Work?
Social Sale Rep is not a step-by-step program. It doesn’t hold your hand or get into the technical aspects of live chat. And as mentioned earlier, they don’t hire you directly or get you a job.
In this case, they provide you with some generalized live chat training and a database of job opportunities you can apply for.
What Is a Social Sales Representative?
Social sales representatives typically use social media platforms and sites like YouTube for advertising and promoting their company’s products or services. In addition, social sales reps may be responsible for content production, developing relationships, and managing ad campaigns.
Some also network through social media by connecting with friends of friends (or friends of referring customers) and growing their network of potential buyers.
One example of a business that uses social sales reps is car dealerships.
It seemed like yesterday when dealerships relied solely on foot traffic (which shows how old I am). But more and more people are coming to them today as online “window shoppers,” asking questions, requesting quotes, etc.
A social sales rep responds to these online inquiries and builds relationships with potential buyers.
In some cases, they handle the vehicle sale from beginning to end. In others, they hand the customer off to an inside sales rep, and the commissions are shared.
Despite its name, that isn’t really what Social Sale Rep is about. It’s about becoming a live chat assistant, it’s not about becoming a social sales rep.
It’s also not about getting paid on social media.
In some instances, social media selling may be the job you apply for, but that’s not what is being taught. Sales reps are “sales” reps. They sell.
But Social Sale Rep does not teach you how to sell or be a good sales rep. It teaches you about live chat support.
A live chat support job is more likely to involve customer service and support than it does sales.
Generally speaking, a sales rep job is more stressful than being a live chat assistant. And there are different kinds of sales reps; inside sales, outside sales, door-to-door sales, social sales, etc.
With that in mind, let’s go through the Social Sale Rep training so that you know what’s inside.
